The Liberty Theatre

In North Bend, this 1924 building is home to Little Theatre on the Bay, one of the oldest continuously operating community theatre groups in Oregon. The building was recently restored and added to the National Register of Historic Places, and the productions here are genuinely excellent. The Egyptian Theatre

On South Broadway in downtown Coos Bay, this landmark celebrated its 100th birthday in 2025. Built in 1925 in Egyptian Revival style — pharaoh statues, cobra light fixtures, ornate hieroglyphic décor — it's one of only a handful of theatres of its kind still standing in the United States. The Dolphin Playhouse

Located in the historic Empire District of Coos Bay, this venue brings quality community theatre to an intimate, welcoming setting. Home of the Dolphin Players, the playhouse puts on six to seven full productions every year. Ticket prices are affordable, the atmosphere is friendly, and the talent on stage will surprise you.
